I make facebook banners

Facebook cover design by serge
Facebook cover design by serge

So you need a facebook banner for your fan page. No problem. Let me create one for you. I make facebook banners for personal pages, business pages, you name it. If you are interested in connecting with my facebook page, check it out here.

You can check out a few examples there too while you are at it.

Facebook banners, facebook covers, same thing.

How do you make a facebook cover?

If you feel brave and have access to an image editing program, you can try to make your own! Here are the steps to making your own facebook cover image.

  1. Facebook cover dimensions are 851 x 315 px.
  2. Make sure you use the “save for web feature” when saving your final image.
  3. Make sure you save as a .png. This is because when you save as a .jpg and upload it, Facebook compresses it and makes it look terrible and full of artifacts.

That’s pretty much it in a nutshell, of course if you need more help I’ll be happy to answer any questions on the subject.

The Day I had enough

Have you had enough? If you’re like me (and you probably are if you are reading this post,) you have had enough. Enough of what you say? Enough of running around in circles and  getting nothing done! It’s 2013 now, here is a short list of things I wanted to, but didn’t accomplish last year.
  1.  Illustrate and self-publish a children’s book. My girlfriend is a great writer, and we decided to collaborate on a kids book.  She wrote it, I’m supposed to illustrate it. Back on the plate for 2013.
  2. Finish our music album. I have excuses for this one, but I’m going to tackle this in 2013.  I just bought a nice keyboard I can use with Reason. I plan to make it a dance album or dance comedy. Yes, a hybrid. I’ll call it, Haharmony? I’ll work on that.
  3. Work on my RetroCritic gaming blog.  A man of many hats I am, but not a man with much time. This year I will workout a plan to get the ball rolling on this.
  4. Finish my 1st Full-length Movie Script. I’ve been taking screenwriting classes at the local college, it is alot of fun. I must finish my movie. It needs to be done. I’d love to tell you what it’s about, but you may steal it. Therefore, I cannot. As you were.
  5. Get Fit and Chiseled! I just want a lean, muscular body. Not like the rock, that’s too much. More like Jean Claude Van Damme. Kickboxer style. After I attain this, I plan to bring high-waisted pants back. And what?

Eye candy for the ladies and Gay boys

How is it that I didn’t get any of these things done? I guess you could say, time is like a paycheck. Before you know it, it’s all gone.

I am a man, I walk on two legs. Homo-erectus, if you will.

I have a feeling 2013 is going to be a hell of a year for me.

Making music with Reason

Reason by PropellerHead Software is one of the most powerful music creation softwares around.  I have been using reason since the days of Reason 3 and it’s one of those things that can never get  boring.

Reason’s approach to music creation will feel a bit different at first if you are used to composing in programs like FL Studio, but a welcoming change in my opinion.  Reason is designed around the concept of using modules to “create”  your synths and effects much like you woul have racks in a physical sense.
